A STORY CELL SCRIPT
Every "Cell" in one of our interactive plotlines starts out with a script. The scenes are mapped out and ready to execute.
Every story needs a unique set of locations.
That's where location art comes in. The art director assigns, locates, or commissions a new asset depending on a number of criteria.
This is an area where things become cheaper as we go, because a good percentage of these assets can be re-used in future cells.
The characters needed for the cell are either imported, created, or commissioned. based on 2 factors.
1. Is the character important enough to warrant focus (typically speaking roles)
2. Does the character already exist, or one similar enough to modify for the purpose.
This is the stage where the character voices are added, as well as foley.
Once all elements are added to a cell, a mixdown is performed, balancing the elements.
After the mixdown is complete, we add the musical ques for the cell.
Finally a post production layer of rack mount polish effects are added, consolidating the final sound.
