YOU DECIDE TO STAY HOME

You remember the War of the Worlds broadcast.  They won't trick you this time.  They probably knew about a planned test of the emergency siren, and timed the joke on purpose. 

You smile and laugh a bit at the absurdity of the news station's prank, and switch the TV input over to your game console.

A start screen opens up, and you put on your noise cancelling headphones and impatiently hammer the A button so you can get on with playing the game.

The game finally loads up, and you begin walking through an abandoned city.  When you reach the end of the street you see a massive doorway, somehow magically suspended in mid air above what would normally be a crowded intersection.

The door seems ominous, but you are curious about what might lie behind such an unusual door.
